3 Tips To Spark A Discipleship Movement

Hey, did you know that discipling people isn’t the job of your pastor?

I know it sounds crazy because we’re so used to hearing that we need to get people to church, and while that is important, I’m going to share three Tips with you today that might revolutionize the way you teach people how to follow Jesus.

I’m RK and I’ve helped hundreds of thousands of people around the world meet & follow Jesus.

But as I traveled around and ministered to people and I watched people give their lives to Jesus I began to ask the question…

What now?

Jesus said we need to preach to everyone and disciple all the nations.

We’re not just supposed to get decisions we’re supposed to multiply disciples.

So what is the key to discipleship?

It’s PRHOLEPHGG.

Right before Jesus left he said to Disciple Nations by teaching them to obey everything he commanded.

So what did the disciples start to obey & teach right after Jesus left?

I found 10 commands they started to obey & teach in Acts 2..

So I’m going to share with you 3 Tips to help you to start multiplying disciples immediately.

And I know what you’re probably thinking: I don’t know that much…how can I teach anyone.

This method is so simple my 9 year old does this and gets amazing results.

So the first Tip is, Focus on Obedience Not Knowledge.

The big idea here is In the western world we think we do things because we know about them. .

But in the Bible you don’t “know” something until you obey it.
Do you know all the things Jesus commanded his followers to obey?
Are you obeying them?

This method reveals 10 simple things every follower of Jesus should start obeying on a regular basis and makes it simple enough that they can also go and train others to obey the same way they are.!

The second Tip is 3/3.

Format every discipeship time you have with someone in 3 chunks, Look Back, Look Up, Look Out.

This means If you want to multiply doers of the word not just knowers of the word, you need to hold people accountable to the command you are teaching them to obey. The 3/3 process helps you do this by giving you 3 simple questions you can ask at every single discipleship time. .

The third Tip is You don’t need to be a Bible Expert.

A lot of times people feel like they don’t know enough of the Bible to teach others..

But with our method we give you 6 questions you can use to create discussion during every discipleship time. .

Now, I know what you’re thinking.

it can’t be that easy.

The thing is when Jesus chose you, he gave you everything you need to create a discipleship movement!

And so I’ve developed this Be One Train One CARD you can use to begin to multiply disciples immediately..

This card took a couple years of prayer & study and practice to figure out how to take a person who is a new believer and train them so they can multiply disciples quickly. I wanted it to be simple enough where my kids could do this with other kids. It’s fun to watch my 9 year old do bible studies with other kids at her church. .

The difference between a laser beam and a flash light is focus. With this card, you’ll know what to focus on in the beginning of the discipleship process so you can multiply disciples who multiply disciples. !

I’ve had the opportunity to see hundreds of thousands of people say Yes to Jesus but I realized to reach the billions of people you need to focus on multiplying.,

Now i’m a full on nerd, I love reading and studying and testing things out to see how we can take the big ideas in the Kingdom of God and simplify down to the nitty gritty to help you follow & fish and train others to follow and fish with Jesus. .
